The Scimitar knife with a black technical polymer handle has been designed together with BBQ Coaches. The 250 mm long blade properly cuts regular slices of cooked meat without tearing and without "squeezing" the meat itself. Furthermore the particular enlarged profile of the blade helps to move the slice of cooked meat in the serving tray. The knife is made by stainless steel W4110 hot forged, around 1200° and 56 HRC of hardness. The hardening process developed and jealously guarded by the company makes each type of knife different each other. This is due the fact that the values of hardness and resistance of the wire and flexibility of the blade vary, therefore each knife has the best characteristics for its specific use. The handle is fixed to the full tang with three stainless steel rivets.
